I been configuring the new CISCO small business router. So far it seems easy to configure. I do have some issues with the admin pages they are not as easy to use as many other router admin pages are. I am happy with the features it includes and I will update you all as I learn more.

So today I been trying to fix an old problem with the VE control. When trying to delete layers with in the code behind from a map control it does not seem to delete the layer visually on the ASP.NET client side. My plan is working a trick and on update on the client side travers the layers and delete them from the client side. I am not thrilled with the solution but I have no other ideas right now. Le Sigh…..

TFS Works

Okay I spent time and finally got it installed. Grant it I ended up using SQL 2005 instead of 2008 and I am using the Workgroup edition that limits a user to 5 lic. My initial thoughts now that I got a proiject setup and working is good. I like the fact that everything on my project is now centralized. I can keep track of bugs and tasks mu h easier stay tuned for more.

Today I spent time working on the Microsoft Team Foundation and I must say I was not thrilled with it. I spent a lot of time fixing things that should work out of the box. I also had to keep messing with the VS 2008 that would connect to a TFS.

I also spent some of my time working on Virtual Earth and some of the odd behaviors I am experiencing with the Visual Studio CTP Live Control.

I will try again tomorrow. I hope it is much smoother than todays.
